Pros
- the same stories are accessible to all reading ages - journalists could experiment by working for many different subsidiaries whist being hired under the same company - news can be spread across the country very quickly - subsidiaries include small village newspapers, so these can't close down because they have funding from the corporation they work under |
Cons
- all newspapers are most likely to be biased - the news seen by the whole country is decided by only a few people - the news could become boring because the stories are all the same - journalists don't have much creative freedom |
